I received an email from a photographer named Josh asking if it's possible to trigger both a flash and a second camera with these triggers. The answer is yes, and the setup works very well. I took some video of this setup--my hunch is it's probably possible to do several cameras and flashes at once. How many? I have no idea. So if you're interested in capturing different angles of an event, but don't have a second shooter or some helping hands, this is one of the cheapest ways to do it. Just make sure your camera can be triggered via the rf-602's (my D40x can't, but my D700 can--which is why I was using the D40x as the "master" camera).
On this topic, I think this might be a fun way to create a 3D image that can be stitched together and played on one of the Apple plugins (kind of like the 360 videos out there on the net that are used by real-estate agents). Would be a fun experiment--I just need to find a few other photographers who shoot with Nikon bodies so that we can get enough cameras to do this and a model who doesn't mind being seen from all angles.
