We went to my secret "garden" yesterday afternoon, only to be horrified at the destruction and devastation left behind by either rains or floods. There were very few cosmos living, and all of the sunflowers had drowned...we saw only two bees in a place that usually has thousands...while it is a sad time, it's also a good reminder that we're never in control. God, I guess, doesn't want me taking pictures of bees in Seoul this summer. Perhaps there's something bigger and better coming. At least I got to play with the bees in North America.
Perhaps I need to venture to other parts of the city, or maybe outside the city itself to get the pictures I'm after. Either way, it's all good as I get to spend more time with family. I'll update my pictures sometime this week. I've got about 18GB worth of pictures to sift through...and hundreds of film images to scan.
