All righty, the D5000 is real. And now I'm in a pickle. I don't know whether to go for it, or save some money and buy a D200 with a couple of lenses. This is going to be a tough choice. I've now seen the video capabilities of the D5000. I am impressed. With the right prime lenses, and proper timing, it's possible to get wonderful video out of it. Not that I'm much into video, but it sure is a nice feature to have. And I know all about swivel screens. They're a blessing, not a curse. The only downside is it swivels downward, and not to the side. I guess that's just something people will have to get used to. I'll post here to let all of you know what I buy. This is going to be a tough choice, as I only use MF glass, and there's currently no focusing screen for the D5000. I'll check Katzeye and Focusingscreen.com often to see if they come up with a solution. I certainly hope they do ; )
I will get those pictures up soon. I promise. We've just been so busy with school, and enjoying the spring weather that I haven't had the time to resize the images. They're sitting in folders on my computer as I type this.
